Minty Meets Munt - a fresh attitude and the affordable destination for Australian fashionistas.
Minty Meets Munt launched as a retail only operation in 2007, located on Crown Street in Surry Hills. The store fast became a Mecca for Sydney’s cool-seeking fashionistas. Word of the label’s eclectic take on international fashion trends combined with their commitment to ‘well-priced’ self expression began to spread and soon the store became a must-shop destination for not only Sydney-siders but for interstate visitors.
Not too long after opening the doors of their Crown Street store, Minty Meets Munt was approached by national retailer Sportsgirl and asked to join their highly successful young designer program, Sportsgirl Likes.

Their first collection became the retailer’s fastest-ever selling young designer collaboration, prompting Sportsgirl to collaborate with Minty Meets Munt for a record-breaking 4 consecutive seasons and expand this collaboration’s presence from 6 to 20 stores nationally.
The brand is always striving to keep their customers connected with the latest in international fashion and Tanya cites treating their customers less like uninformed shoppers and more like individuals as one of the keys to the brand’s success. Fans of the label include Katy Perry, Rihanna, Ke$ha, The Veronicas and Kimbra to name but a few.
Creating four distinct collections every year isn’t any easy task for any designer. However Minty Meets Munt continually delivers fashion-forward collections that are imbued with Minty Freshness. Each season they aim to deliver collections that are a little sexy, a little cheeky and playful. But most importantly, Minty Meets Munt collections are accessible, inclusive and informed.

Whether it’s scouting fresh faced models to front their seasonal campaigns – the brand cast Hannah Holman two seasons before she was cast as the face of Miu Miu; or their raucous approach to social media – their Facebook status updates need to be read to believed, they endeavour to apply a fresh approach to every aspect of their business.
And it’s working.
Minty Meets Munt is now widely regarded as one Australia’s most innovative and successful high street fashion labels. The label is stocked in 12 Myer stores and over 100 independent retail stores nationally, and has an ever expanding international presence that includes stockists in the US, United Kingdom, New Zealand and China
